Despite common misconceptions, undergoing a polygraph or lie detector test is not an inherently stressful or painful ordeal. There is no sensation of electrical shock, and the method used to monitor blood pressure is identical to what you would apply at home. The most potentially discomforting aspect of a polygraph test might be the conversation itself. Frequently, the test necessitates inquiries regarding traumatic or emotional events, which under certain conditions can cause distress. However, by guaranteeing privacy and catering to your specific requirements, our methodical procedure fosters a setting aimed at mitigating the possible stress associated with such a test.

It is important to understand that the polygraph test is not a magical tool and cannot handle poorly constructed or multiple questions at once. The way polygraph tests are portrayed in movies and television shows can be inaccurate, including the testing method and the number and type of questions asked. To ensure accuracy, we use the most precise strategies. These strategies involve asking 2 to 4 pertinent questions for single issue concerns, and up to 4 different issue questions for pre-employment screening. Other questions are asked during the process to help with scoring and establishing a baseline, but the total number of relevant questions is limited and will be explained in detail by me.

As a professional in my field, it is imperative that I advise against any form of countermeasures during the polygraph exam. It is not advisable to rely on hearsay or information obtained from sources such as TV or the internet. There are websites that claim to offer cheating solutions at a cost, but this is not only illegal but also impossible to achieve. The polygraph measures reactions from the autonomic nervous system, which cannot be controlled. Attempts to cheat the test are easily detected and stopped immediately. As a highly trained professional, I use specialised software and instruments designed to detect even the slightest attempt at cheating. I also incorporate anti-countermeasure instruments and motion detection to ensure the accuracy of the results. Attempting to manipulate the test will be indicated in the final report, and the entire process will be stopped. Honesty is always the best policy during the polygraph exam, as any attempt at deception will be detected.

It is imperative that you adhere to your doctor’s prescription and continue taking any medication if you are scheduled to undergo a polygraph test. Despite common misconceptions, most anti-depressants do not have the ability to manipulate the polygraph and guarantee a favourable outcome. You should always inform your examiner of any medications that you are taking before the test to ensure there are no issues.

During a polygraph, the only sensation experienced is that of the blood pressure cuff. Similar to a doctor’s blood pressure test, the cuff is inflated to around 200 mm hg and the pressure is gradually released over a few seconds.

To maintain a sterile and confidential environment during the polygraph testing procedure, only myself the examiner, and the examinee will be allowed in the examination room. Distractions can significantly impact the results of this diagnostic procedure, as studies have shown that the presence of a second person or witness in the room can have negative consequences. As such, no spouse or partner will be permitted to take part in the test process, ask questions, or observe from another area.

Numerous individuals have attempted to deceive the polygraph in the past, however, without success. It is essential to note that anxiety or nervousness will not affect the outcome of the examination. This is due to the fact that the body’s responses to truthful and deceptive answers will still be distinct from each other, even if the individual is nervous at the start of the test, which is a common occurrence. As a result, I can still obtain a clear indicator of guilt or innocence based on the individual’s reactions.

As a seasoned examiner with the necessary accreditations, I can confidently assure you of attaining an impressive 98% accuracy in our polygraph examinations. My unwavering commitment to excellence is underpinned by a rigorous operating framework that hinges on four key factors, each of which must meet the highest standards for optimal results.

First and foremost, I utilise the most advanced and cutting-edge equipment and interface, ensuring that our testing methods are always up-to-date and highly effective.

I also maintain a conducive environment that is completely free from any form of distraction or interference, further enhancing the accuracy of our tests.

Additionally, I conduct thorough pre-examination screenings of each examinee, ensuring that they fully comply with our established conditions.

When combined with a well-structured session that employs specific questions, this guarantees a result that falls within the impressive range of 95% to 98% accuracy.

While it’s important to note that natural variances may impact the accuracy of any scientific experiment, I take these into consideration and provision adequately for them. Overall, you can trust that my professional expertise and experience will deliver the highest quality and most reliable polygraph examination services available.

A polygraph test typically lasts between 1 hour and 45 minutes to over 2 hours, but the duration may vary depending on the complexity of the matter being investigated. Our testing procedures adhere to strict protocols, and we do not compromise on international standards. We prioritise accuracy over speed and ensure that each examination is carried out with utmost professionalism.

After conducting the tests, I promptly communicate the results verbally. However, preparing a comprehensive report takes some time. Fortunately, with Eyedetect technology, generating a report hardly takes a couple of minutes.

In the realm of polygraph testing, there is no specific age requirement to undergo the test. However, to ensure the precision of the results, it is crucial for the subject to have a competent grasp of language and the notion of honesty. It is possible that some individuals under the age of 16 may lack this level of comprehension, leading to the establishment of this age limit.

The questions asked during a polygraph test are tailored to the specific case at hand. They are designed to be relevant and directly related to the issue being investigated. Each question requires a simple “yes” or “no” response without the need for any additional explanation or elaboration.
